Va mai recomand site-ul oficial pentru a vedea un mini-jurnal al editiei, desi mini e mult zis. O sa va prezint pe scurt cum am privit eu evenimentul, fiind unul din organizatorii principali. M-am gandit sa va prezint cum a pornit eveimentul Ideas & Projects Workshop (IPWorkshop sau IPW) si cam ce o sa fie anul acesta (vara 2008).

Acum cativa ani am fost impreuna cu niste prieteni din Tirgu Mures la un simpozion / sesiune de comunicari care avea un oarecare renume pe piata locala si care se tinea in Iasi. Din pacate, modul in care am fost tratati si priviti nu a fost chiar cel mai potrivit si a inceput aventuros. Ar mai merita mentionat cat de mult ne-am amuzat pe accentul moldovenilor de nu stiam cum sa ne mai potolim obtinand priviri acide de la cei din jur

This time i won’t start from the title, i can tell you only, it isn’t what you think, you’ll realize that by the end of the post.
Unfortunately, lately (about one year ago, maybe more) i’ve noticed some bad tendencies in the software market.
We’ll start our discussion with a well-known and widely used application: Nero Burning Rom. Many of the people i know still believe 6 to be the best version. But what’s the problem with it as of late? Well it has become bloated and by bloated what i mean is that instead of having just plain good old Nero Burning Rom they added tons of extra software like Showtime, Nero Scout (a sort of google desktop) and maaaany others. This one (Nero Scout) adds services and eats up resources and you have to remove most of it manually you can’t do it from the setup of the program or even fully disable it from the program interface.
